Jim Moss Jr.

Pastor

Jim grew up in Maryland, not far from Baltimore.  He went to school out in Ohio, where he met his wife, Darlene.  As a young person, Jim was very involved in sports and was fortunate enough to escape serious injury.  He is still very active, playing golf and working out.  He has spent the majority of his career serving in the suburban Harrisburg area.  Jim and Darlene have two adult children and five grandchildren.  They are fortunate enough to live close to their family and enjoy supporting them in their various activities.

Stacie Reber

Director of Children and Youth Ministry

Stacie is an energetic leader with a passion to develop the potential of Christ's power in others. She came to our church in 2014 and her passion for children and youth has not waivered. Stacie served one other church before coming to Shiremanstown Church of God, and before that spent many years in retail management. Stacie oversees the programming and weekly ministers to the children of the church age 3 to grade 12. On Sunday mornings, she teaches a Jr. and Sr. High Sunday School Class and helps out in our Kidz 4 Jesus program during our 2nd service. On Wednesday nights she spends most of the evening in "The Burrow", our youth ministry space located in the Christian Ed. Building.

Stacie came originally from the Lancaster area and enjoys the quiet places of country life and mountains to recharge. She enjoys hiking, farmers markets, and going to her students' extracurricular activities. Her ministry verse is 2 Timothy 4:5, "But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry," her life Verse is Ephesians 3:20-21, "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."

Stacie is convinced that the "Next Gen" is the church of today, not the church of tomorrow. Having no children of her own, she cares for the children of the church with undivided interest. Stacie loves those who serve alongside her in ministry and wants to see all those around her walking in the Great Commandment and Great Commission with unswerving devotion. Stacie is always ready to meet for coffee to talk about life and ministry, and will keep an eye out for you and your children if you decide to visit our church on a Sunday or Wednesday.
